(I was going to write a whole piece on this myself.)

People keep saying, "I can't wait to go back to normal" and I'm like, "Why? Normal sucked."

Normal was racist. Normal was sexist. Normal was homophobic, transphobic, misogynistic, xenophobic, anti-science, anti-logic, you name it -- normal was anti-anything that furthered the white cisgendered male supremacy of the US and it's policies around the world.

Other countries "normal" was just as bad, too. Why go BACK??

Eff that. Move FORWARD.

The world, as we knew it, is over. THANK THE GODS.

Change hurts. Get over it. Get past it. Keep going forward.
