Pit Bull Rescue Central has always been my go-to for the latest information on the breed. They're pretty good at keeping an up to date list of recent changes in BSL and have a great website in general for people interested in the breed(s) and how to manage their quirks, the prejudices against them, etc. I'm not with PBRC, I used to be with a rescue in Alabama but I've used their site for years as a resource.

I just lost my elderbull Joker last December; as well as the senior chihuahuas I now take in. A lot of pit bull rescuers also seem to take in chis...they're both on the high shelter euthanasia list and unfairly maligned.
